La nostra Associazione Italiana dell’Arpa ha il piacere di annunciare la partnership con la Hong Kong Harp Chamber che si dedica alla promozione dell’insegnamento dell’arpa e ha ospitato più volte l’Hong Kong Harp Festival, oltre al prossimo 10° Concorso Internazionale di Arpa di Hong Kong che avrà luogo nell’ottobre 2027. La Hong Kong Harp Chamber organizza inoltre vari concerti di arpa e masterclass tenute da rinomati artisti internazionali. Molti dei nostri studenti sono stati selezionati per esibirsi in palcoscenici prestigiosi quali il Focus on Youth dei Congressi mondiali di arpa, lo Star of Tomorrow nell’ USA International Harp Competition e i festival di arpa a Pechino, in Corea, a Singapore e a Taiwan. Grazie a questa nostra collaborazione, abbiamo il piacere di invitare l’arpista Xinyue ZHANG, vincitrice del primo concorso di Wuxi.
The Italian Harp Association is pleased to announce its partnership with the Hong Kong Harp Chamber, which is dedicated to promoting harp education and has hosted the Hong Kong Harp Festival on multiple occasions, as well as the upcoming 10th Hong Kong International Harp Competition, to be held in October 2027. The Hong Kong Harp Chamber also organizes various harp concerts and masterclasses led by renowned international artists. Many of their students have been selected to perform on prestigious stages such as the Focus on Youth at the World Harp Congresses, the Star of Tomorrow at the USA International Harp Competition, and harp festivals in Beijing, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan. Thanks to this collaboration, we are pleased to invite harpist Xinyue ZHANG, winner of the first Wuxi Competition.
Xinyue ZHANG è nata a Shanghai in una famiglia di musicisti: sua madre è prima arpa del Teatro dell’Opera di Shanghai, mentre suo padre era violoncellista dell’Orchestra Sinfonica di Shanghai. Ha iniziato a studiare pianoforte con la madre all’età di 4 anni e arpa all’età di 7 anni con il professor Jason Chang del Conservatorio di Musica di Shanghai. Ha frequentato la scuola elementare e media annesse al Conservatorio di Musica di Shanghai ed è stata ammessa al Conservatorio di Musica di Shanghai. Nella stagione 2025/26 terrà un recital solista al Festival Internazionale di Musica Giovanile “Čajkovskij”. In qualità di vincitrice del premio, terrà recital solista al Concorso Internazionale di Arpa ‘Suoni D’Arpa’ in Italia e al Concorso Internazionale “Golden Harp” a San Pietroburgo. Si è esibita al concerto di apertura del 2° Harp Carnival China e ha ricoperto il ruolo di arpista di riserva per il musical Les Misérables 40th Anniversary a Shanghai. Ha tenuto un recital solista al Fujian Salvi Harp Festival e un recital di condivisione delle esibizioni al 2° Festival dell’Arpa presso il Conservatorio di Musica di Xinghai. I suoi successi nei concorsi sono altrettanto notevoli. Ha vinto il primo premio al Concorso di arpa Salvi di Wuxi. Ha ottenuto il primo premio e il premio speciale per la migliore esecuzione di Čajkovskij al Primo Concorso Internazionale di Arpa “GOLDEN HARP”; è arrivata alla seconda fase dell’Internationaler Musikwettbewerb der ARD München come unica concorrente cinese, risultato che rappresenta anche il miglior piazzamento mai ottenuto da un’arpista cinese nella storia del concorso; Ha vinto il quarto premio e il premio per la migliore esecuzione di un’opera israeliana al 21° Concorso Internazionale di Arpa di Israele; il primo premio nella categoria Professionisti e nella categoria Duetti di Arpa Professionisti, al 7° e 8° Concorso Internazionale di Arpa di Hong Kong; il primo premio nella categoria Giovani al 4° Concorso Internazionale di Arpa della Corea; la menzione d’onore all’8° Concorso Lily Laskine. All’età di 12 anni ha tenuto il suo primo recital da solista. Si è esibita al concerto “Star of tomorrow” dell’11° Concorso Internazionale Americano di Arpa; ha inoltre tenuto concerti di arpa con l’Orchestra Filarmonica di Shanghai, l’Orchestra Sinfonica di Qingdao e l’Orchestra Filarmonica di San Pietroburgo.
Ha frequentato masterclass con i professori Isabelle Moretti, Emmanuel Ceysson, Sivan Magen, Nancy Allen, Jana Bouskova e Marie-Pierre Langlamet.
Xinyue ZHANG, was born in a musician family in Shanghai, her mother is the principal harpist of the Shanghai Opera House, and her father was the cellist of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. She started learning piano with her mother at the age of 4 and learning harp at the age of 7 with Professor Jason Chang from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. She attended the attached primary school and middle school of Shanghai Conservatory of Music and was admitted to Shanghai Conservatory of Music. In the 2025/26 season, she will present solo recital at the Tchaikovsky International Youth music festival. As a prize winner, she will perform solo recitals at the Suoni D’Arpa International Harp Contest in Italy, the Golden Harp International Competition in St. Petersburg. She was performed at the opening concert of the 2nd Harp Carnival China and served as a reserve harpist for the Shanghai of Les Misérables 40th Anniversary musical. She held solo recital at the Fujian Salvi Harp Festival and held a performance sharing recital at the 2nd Harp Festival at Xinghai Conservatory of Music. Her competition achievements are equally impressive. She won the First prize in the Wuxi Salvi Harp Competition. She won the First prize and the Special prize for the best performance of Tchaikovsky in the First International Harp Competition “GOLDEN HARP”;
She entered the second round of Internationaler Musikwettbewerb der ARD München as the only Chinese contestant, this is also the best result of the Chinese harpist in the past competition; She won the Fourth prize, the best performance of Israeli work in the 21st Israel International Harp Competition; the First prize in the Professional division and Professional Harp Duet division, in the 7th, 8th Hong Kong International Harp Competition; the First prize in the Youth division in the 4th Korea International Harp Competition; the Mention Award in the 8th Lily Laskine. At the age of 12, she held her first solo recital. She has performed at the “Star of tomorrow” concert of the 11th American International Harp Competition; also performed harp concert with the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, Qingdao symphony orchestra and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra. She was attended Masterclass with professors Isabelle Moretti, Emmanuel Ceysson, Sivan Magen, Nancy Allen, Jana Bouskova, Marie-Pierre Langlamet.
